HUMMINGBIRD COTTAGE between Bayfield and Grand Bend is a 1958 cottage that was moved by previous owners from another site to it's present location. At that time it was extensively remodeled and brought up to building code. Many new windows and all of the mechanicals were updated or added. A shallow basement was added so a new forced air gas furnace could be installed. Throughout the renovation the cottage character and charm were retained.
